Free Copiers For Schools
HOC Digital can supply multi-functional devices (MFDs) free of any capital costs to schools. Under the Free Copiers For Schools Scheme MFDs are loaned to schools free of any capital costs. This allows schools to make use of and benefit from the equipment without the need to employ their capital expenditure budgets.
HOC Digital can provide vital equipment without all the extra added costs normally associated with MFDs. This will enable all our customers to use the funds saved in other more important areas and on more valuable resources.
How does it work?
Free Copiers For Schools was initially set up as a pilot project to investigate the feasibility of providing equipment to schools free of charge, that would be self financing, and would allow the school to make better use of budgeted capital.
This was to be achieved by the company absorbing the equipment cost within the copy charge, and the school producing the volume of copying to make it possible.
The pilot project has proven so successful that the company has now developed a division solely dedicated to the provision of free copiers for schools.
Will it be cost effective?
Our primary concern at Free Copiers For Schools is cost effectiveness - for all participants.
This is achieved by removing capital outlay, or cumbersome fixed term leasing contracts.
When this is coupled together with a site survey and print audit, an overall picture can be easily formulated.
Often with the right equipment in place and universal copy charge, not only does the school benefit by having no capital expenditure, but also makes a saving on monthly running costs.
Are there any contractual obligations?
Note: There is a one-off charge of £250.00 (two hundred and fifty pounds) in respect of delivery, installation and the training of users by one of our fully qualified engineers.
What is the service back up?
The cost per copy charge not only covers the cost of the free machine but also covers the service back up.
The service back up includes all emergency callouts, labour, spare parts, target four hour service response time and routine preventative maintenance.
Equipment training is provided upon installation, and is available on an ongoing basis as required.
Available equipment
A multitude of systems are available, ranging from 20 copy per minute low volume machines all the way up to 105 copy per minute high volume workhorse copy/printers.
Systems can be simple stand alone units, or digitally networked multifunctional systems.
All equipment available comes as standard with document feed, duplex and sorting.
There is no restriction on the number of units per school; you simply choose the equipment that best suits your needs.
